Adoption FAQ
Like many female cats in Savannah, Jezabel was left behind when her family moved away, and because she wasn't spayed, she had a litter. Her babies have all found homes, so now she needs her own. She is a long hair Siamese with beautiful blue eyes that has really only been around her kittens though has not shown issues with other cats in her boarding. Won't you please open up your home to this lovely diva?
From Jez's foster mom:
Jezebel is quite possibly the most amazing kitty I’ve ever met—and I’ve met a lot of cool cats. I have fostered many times for dozens of pets, and I have never struggled to give up one of my fosters this badly. Jezebel is very opinionated. A home that she resides in is her house. Most cats are freaked out for the first few days, but Jezebel acted as if she’d lived with me for years the moment she walked in the door. She LOVES dogs! She immediately liked and trusted both of my wild dogs. She will cuddle next to them, rub against them, and share food with them. It’s so rare and amazing to see. Jezebel could never ever be an indoor-outdoor kitty. She is too friendly and trusting of dogs. She'd readily greet a snarling dog that had tragic plans for her. She lets me trim her nails, though she fusses vocally after a while. She wasn't used to being held, but she is allowing it more and more. I now will hold her for quite some time while she purrs. She loves to sit on your lap and purr. She will rub and purr for about 5 minutes, and then she'll flit off. She will follow you all around the house like a puppy. She is everywhere you are and wanting to help with whatever you’re doing. Mostly, she is purring and near you. She loves to be the center of attention. She is also very sweet to children. At several events we've been to for Coastal Pet Rescue, children will pet her and rub on her in frankly awkward ways, and she is completely okay with it. She never gets annoyed and fusses about it. She struts up to strangers when they come over, too. She came into the rescue with kittens, but they’ve all found homes. She is about 2 years old, and extremely playful! She is spayed and up-to-date on all vetting.
Jezebel is one of the most amazing cats I've ever met. She is definitely unique, and I know there is someone out there that will laugh indulgently at her and love her for who she is. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Adoption fees are $40 per feline and $150 per canine unless otherwise specified. Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
*Coastal Pet Rescue adopted pets are microchipped through 24PetWatch. New pet parents are responsible for keeping their information accurate and up-to-date through the registry's free online system.
