It's easy for you to help Coastal Pet Rescue in its mission to saving the homeless, abused and neglected pets in our community. Coastal Pet Rescue receives funding for its rescue efforts through fundraising events, individual donations, and business sponsorships. Adoption fees are nominal ($100 for dogs/puppies; $80 for cats/kittens) and go towards the cost of the spay/neuter for each adopted pet. All monies invested in the pet, such as boarding, feeding, grooming, and veterinary care, are never fully recovered.

Donate Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds
Coastal Pet Rescue depends on your continued financial support and this year we are very excited to let you know that Coastal Pet Rescue can now accept your donations of publicly traded securities such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Your donation is tax deductible at the fair market value of the security at the date of the donation. To be tax deductible in 2007, your donation must be transferred from your broker by December 31, 2007. For more information, contact Kelly A. Pennies for Pets
Set aside your unused pennies for the animals in our programs. Our program relies on donations to provide necessary vet care, sterilization, and supplies to prepare rescued animals for their new homes. Your small change could make a big change in their life.

Recycle, Reduce and Reuse
Instead of taking up space in landfills, now ink and toner cartridges can be used to fund vet visits and a few good meals for homeless pets. Area businesses are asked to collect ink and toner cartridges at their offices. Arrangements may be made for pick up by emailing ecycle@coastalpetrescue.org or dropping off cartridges at any of our local events.
