Chatham Parkway Lexus and Chatham Parkway Toyota to Benefit Coastal Pet Rescue
Savannah, GA February 26, 2005
Chatham Parkway Lexus and Chatham Parkway Toyota are looking to help homeless pets this March.
For every vehicle sold from March 1 to March 31, Chatham Parkway Lexus and Chatham Parkway Toyota will donate $25 to Coastal Pet Rescue. The dealerships will also be accepting monetary donations and donations of pet food and supplies for the rescue throughout the month.
“I have grown up with pets all my life, and every time I see an animal running the road it bothers me,” says Jim Mollica, General Manager of Chatham Parkway Lexus and Chatham Parkway Toyota. “[Coastal Pet Rescue] help[s] these pets, and I feel we owe it to the community to give back.”
On March 26th, Coastal Pet Rescue will hold an adopt-a-thon and low-cost microchipping clinic from 11 to 2 pm at the dealerships. The microchipping clinic will take place from 1 to 2 pm. The cost is $10 per pet, and each pet must have proof of current rabies vaccination.
Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
