Coastal Pet Rescue is Taking the Dogs to the Ballgame this July

Savannah, GA June 19, 2007

Coastal Pet Rescue is looking for a few good home runs for their dogs this July.

Join Coastal Pet Rescue and other area rescues July 1st for the annual Bark in the Park with the Savannah Sand Gnats. Gates open at 1 pm, and pets will be available for adoption until 4 pm.

Additionally, the group will host a low-cost microchip clinic from 2 to 4 pm. For just $10, your dog will be microchipped with a 24PetWatch microchip. There is no cost for updating information after registration, and 24PetWatch provides online tools to help reunite your pets when they get lost. The chips can be read by any scanner at shelters, rescues and animal control facilities.

If daytime games are too hot for you, then join Coastal Pet Rescue volunteers for Coastal Pet Rescue night Saturday, July 14. Game time is 7:05, gates open at 6. Bring an item or donation for Coastal Pet Rescue and get a free Rally to Rescue pet collar and wristband set.

Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Savannah, Georgia dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats in the Creative Coast Savannah and Lowcountry South Carolina areas.
