Coastal Pet Rescue Presents 2nd Annual Spare the Pets Bowl-a-Thon

Savannah, GA April 10, 2006

Spend an afternoon with friends and family and help save the lives of homeless animals in Savannah.

On Saturday, June 3rd, Coastal Pet Rescue will hold its second annual Spare the Pets Bowl-a-Thon.

“We had such a demand for it at the beginning of this year, we decided to do it again,” says Lisa Scarbrough, Coastal Pet Rescue’s President and Founder.

The event will be held at AMF Savannah Lanes on Tibet Avenue from 3 to 5:30 PM. The cost for individual bowlers is $20 each, or a team of six may register for $120. Individual bowlers will be paired up with other individual bowlers. Registration cost includes two hours of bowling, and shoe rental.

New this year, bowlers can bid on the chance to bowl with one of three radio personalities. Kix 96’s Big Mac, Z102’s Senea, and WBMQ’s Ben Bennett have graciously donated their time in support of the event. Bidding takes place online and is open until May 10th.

Sponsorships are also being sought. Lane sponsorships are available for $225 each and include one team of six bowlers, six T-shirts, company name over one lane, and company name on back of T-shirt. T-shirt sponsorships are available for $75 and include the company’s name or logo on the back of the event T-shirt.

Registration is required in advance as lanes are limited. Registration and payment is due by May 15, 2006. Registration form and further information is available online at http://www.coastalpetrescue.org.

Founded in February 2003, Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Savannah, Georgia dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats in the Creative Coast Savannah and Lowcountry South Carolina areas.
