Holiday Hours

Coastal Pet Rescue will be closed starting November 24th & 25th and December 24th through December 26th and January 1st for the holidays. Emails and phone calls will be returned the next business day. Please note that Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer organization and does not operate a physical shelter. All animals are in foster homes and can only be seen by appointment. If you are interested in adoption, please use the adoption application on the pet’s page.

Closed for Intakes until 2012

This year has been rough for Coastal Pet Rescue. Due to the lack of donations and unavailability of foster homes, we are closed to intakes until the new year. Tybee Floatilla a Success

We would like to thank all the floaters and sponsors who contributed to the Tybee Floatilla Float for Pets on September 25th. Coastal Pet Rescue received $3,250 with three other agencies, including The Milton Project, receiving $1,500. Thanks to The Crab Shack, Bizee "B" Title Services, The Rail Pub, Fat Tire Bikes, Savannah Warehouse Services, The Crypt Pub, Sailfish Citrus, Rollinger Insurance Agency, and the Register Law Firm for their sponsorships.

Tybee Floatilla to Benefit Coastal Pet Rescue

(Tybee Island, GA) - With the hot temperatures, what could be better that floating down the river with a few hundred of your closest friends?

The last Tybee Floatilla of the year will take place Sunday, September 25th at Alley III on Tybee. Wristbands are required to float and go on sale August 24th at The Crab Shack on Tybee, The Island Grill in Port Wentworth, Molly McGuire's on Wilmington Island, and The Crypt Pub Downtown. The $20 registration fee will go to Coastal Pet Rescue and is limited to 500 floaters.

"The Floatillas have been a lot of fun, and I'm really happy to have the funds go to worthy causes," says organizer Brian Stafford.

Previous Floatillas have benefitted The Ronald McDonald House, Shriner's Children's Hospitals, Tybee Marine Rescue Squadron, Baby Liam, J.C. Lewis Cancer Pavillion, and the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Sponsorships are still available and T-shirts will be sold for $10 to raise additional funds.
